Edge notification on clicks don't work anymore.

It looks like in the latest version of Edge, notification onclick events do not work anymore. When I click on notifications, nothing happens.

I initially thought it was just my page, but it looks like it affects every app as shown in video:

I am on Edge version 109.0.1518.61 (Official build) (64-bit)

Any ideas what could be causing this?

    SHRIHARI-PRAKASAM This has also been broken for me for at least 6 months now. I am seeing the same behaviour as yourself. I have tested with 2 different web pages/notifications and it's the same for both. They just don't redirect you to the tab like they should. I have "Pop-ups and redirects" browser permission enabled. 

     

    I'm on Version 109.0.1518.70 (Official build) (64-bit) but like I said, this hasn't worked for a long time.

      I managed to resolve this by running a repair on Edge via Add or Remove programs. Clicking on notifications now redirect as intended 🙂
