Edge logs me out of Gmail every time I close the browser
I have tried posting this on Gmail forums with no success. For the past 10 days or so, Edge logs me out of my 3 Gmail accounts every time I close the browser. It does not save any of their login info...
I had the same issue, and these are how I resolved it:
- Sign out profile from Edge and Tick 'Clear favorites, history, passwords, and other browsing data from this device.'
- Log in this account again.
Don't worry about losing data, because the data we choose to delete is stored on your computer's hard drive, specifically in the AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data folder. Meanwhile, the data will be restored when you sign in again, and it will be downloaded from the Edge cloud back to your hard drive.
This error occurs due to a conflict between the Google ecosystem’s cache and cookies and Edge.
