Edge is slow to close
After a bit of trial and error, I figured it out.
Settings - Privacy and Services - Choose what to clear every time you close the browser. If I enable "Cookies and other site data" it takes a long time for Edge to close.
ronha365 I'm glad to hear that you determined the cause! However, if it feels like performance is severely impacted, please submit feedback with diagnostic data so our team can look into it.

I, too, have set Edge to clear everything on exit. However, I did not have the very slow close problem until after the recent Windows 10 updates. Before that, Edge closed quickly. Something else may be contribuing to this problem.
I have similar clear all settings for Firefox and it has always closed/shutdown fast.
