Edge Insider feature request - Pin to Start

I see that Pin to Task Bar is available in the More Tools, but I do NOT use the Task Bar at all. I MUCH prefer the Start Menu, and normall have all our devices set to Tablet Mode w/Full Screen Start...

Hi All. I just want to make sure that I understand the ask clearly. What you are asking for is a way to pin specific web sites to the Start menu, so that when you click on them, Microsoft Edge will launch to that page? Or, are you asking for the ability to pin the browser to the Start menu? For the second, we do have a work around, because it is a program, it shows up in the All Programs list, you can right click there and Pin To Start. This isn't the same as the Pin to Desktop option in the more menu, but it is a work around to get you unblocked. You can also drag and drop the program from the All Programs list to the taskbar, if that is your preferred launching pad.

Hello,

as it seems that "Pin to Start" is not implemented for the new Edge I have a suggestion to give the user an alternative for "Pin to Start" with the new "install this site as App" function.

With "install this site as an app" a start menu list entry is automatically created. Now you can manually pin this entry to the start menu and you have a similar function as before with "pin to start".

It would be great if there was an option in the settings to automatically pin every new "website-app" to the start menu.

This would bring the function very close to the old "pin to start".

This may not be the default setting but, I would love to have this as an option inside the settings.
