Edge IE mode list add URL with ? in it

We have a URL at work that we need to add to IE mode in Edge. We have multiple sites with the same begging URl (ex. http://www.contoso.com) but end with different string and we want them to act differently based on the end characters. The URL has a ? in the middle of the string and truncates anything after the ? when adding it to the IE mode list. 

Does anyone know of a way to be able to add the ? in the URL without it truncating?
