Edge Extensions are running in Task Manager

 

 

Hi Edge  Nice Day  !!

 

I have noticed that,  after exit from the browser extensions are  running in task manager.  Kindly fix this issue  on Edge Browser .

    Hi knkblr2020 

     

    You will likely still see things in Task Manager after you quit Edge if the "Startup Boost" feature is turned on, as this constantly leaves bits of Edge running in the background to make it appear on-screen faster next time you use it.

     

    To turn it off, go to Menu (the "..." in the top-right) then Settings then click System in the left-hand list, then on the right-side, click the slider after "Start-up boost" so that it is off (grey)

     

    While you are on that screen, if you don't use any "web apps", you can also turn-off the "Continue running background apps when Microsoft Edge is closed" setting also
