Edge displays Simplified Chinese (zh-CN) characters displayed as variant (zh-TW) glyphs

the highlighted characters are displayed not as zh-CN style.

You can see that Some of the characters are displayed Right but Most of them are Wrong.

I can confirm that it is because Edge use Microsoft JhengHei instead of Microsoft Yahei most times.
