Edge Dev opening locally downloaded Excel spreadsheet instead of sharepoint

In Edge Classic, I open a SharePoint Excel spreadsheet and the SharePoint location is stored in the jump list for future reference.

 

in Edge Dev, when I open the SharePoint Excel spreadsheet, the jump list stores the downloaded location for future use.

 

For the work I'm doing, I always need to access each monthly Excel spreadsheet from SharePoint; developers are constantly updating the SharePoint copy and the download is always stale.

 

Is there a setting in Edge Dev to go back to the Edge Classic behavior instead of creating another download?
