Edge Dev for MacOS never auto updates
How long does a typical weekly update take to roll out? I'm asking because every time a new build is out, I open the about page to check the version of my Edge browser and it says it's up-to-date eve...
sudokai, the dev channel should be updating on a weekly basis. What version do you have now? Also did you install Edge from http://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com? We had some bootlegged versions that caused some problems in the past...
Joon_Chang I have v78.0.276.2 and it says it's up-to-date, even though the latest version is 79.0.279.0.

I installed it by downloading it from Microsoft Edge Insider. I've installed and uninstalled Edge several times, I've also tried the beta build. I've never seen it auto update though, ever.
I'm a developer, so I can help you troubleshoot this if you need more information.
