MicrosoftEdge crashes within few minute of launch
I have a strange problem where The edge browser just quits without any reason of error codes on My Mac Book pro Specification below:
The browser will open up normally and show the restore tabs dialog and then within a minute or so crash/quit without warning. The most bizarre part is that it's happening with all of channels on my machine, I have tried the latest canary, Dev, Beta, and Stable builds.... all seem to have this problem.
Things I have already tried :
- Clean Reinstall and sync
- Remove all extensions
- Clear cache and temp files...
- Restart Mac in safe mode and run browser
Nothing seems to be helping, Please help. Sadly I had to install Chrome for the first time in 3 years.

Hey there Vikram_s1! The team is looking into this, it appears to be an issue specific to Mac Catalina 10.15.7 at the moment. Looks like you're an employee, if you're able and willing to work with the team to debug this directly please ping me on Teams and I'll connect you, an internal repro would be really helpful to investigate!

If you haven't recently, sending in a new set of diagnostics would be super helpful. I saw above you sharing your upload IDs. Can you share any recent ones with me so that I can share them with the team? Appreciate your help with this, definitely want to help you nail this one down. 🙂

still unstable with version 98.0.1108.62
I met the same problem. already upgraded 10.15.7 newest security patch with edge version 98.0.1108.56.
machine: imac pro 2017, mac pro late 2013.
