EDGE CHROMIUM IE MODE

Question

Downloaded edge chromium and&nbsp; I was not able to use IE mode nor enable it . I looked&nbsp; and it would not allow me to enabled IE via : edge://compat/iediagnostic&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; nor did it show up under : edge://flags/&nbsp;I am not sure what else I can do without trying to mess with enterprise site list and registry.&nbsp;Would greatly appreciate any and all help!Am on 21h2 win 10 and downloaded edge chromium straight from MS

What version of Edge are you trying?  We recently added some more settings for this in Edge Dev.

Hey Josh, thanks for replying the official build is 101.0.1210.53 64bit

Okay, our Dev build is currently at version 103, so if you either download Edge Dev or wait until 103 reaches the production channel, you should be able to confirm if the added settings help you with this.  Also, if you haven't yet, make sure you've got all the other pre-requisites fulfilled for IE mode:  https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/edge-ie-mode#prerequisites

So I am confused My computer has 101.0.1210.53(Official build)(64-bit) and I have full use of IE mode.The issue is on a vm that to my knowledge does not have anything blocking use of IE mode for Edge Chromium but I checked and would not allow me to enabled IE via : edge://compat/iediagnostic nor did it show up under : edge://flags/any thoughts on why?

If you take a look at that link I shared, does the VM meet all of those?  My initial thought is that maybe Windows on that VM doesn't have the updates necessary, or has IE disabled.
