Edge Canary on MacOS not updating profile picture

I am unable to update my profile picture in Edge Canary on MacOS, i tried signing out and signing back in, it gives me a grey avatar, my microsoft profile does have a profile picture. I updated the picture on the website, waited 24hrs, still won't update in Edge Canary, any suggestion?

    Sometimes it takes a few days for the picture to sync down. Do you still have the placeholder?
