Edge built-in search engine Yandex connecting to Russia?
Hi all, I'm currently busy to determine a baseline for my network traffic, but what I've noticed is that at random times there is https traffic to ip-adresses in Russia. Based on some reverse-ip's...
Yandex is based in Russia, so its natural that traffic goes to IP in Russia. It is very popular in Russia. Just question why would anyone would use Yandex outside of Russia.
- I know, it’s one of the largest search engines used in Russia, but why do I see traffic from random endpoints going to Russia. It think it has to do with the built-in search engine in Edge. I had a colleague who doesn’t use Edge but I still saw https traffic to Yandex. And that what bothers me.
