Edge and Bing going Japanese? Or am I being clandestinely surveilled??
Today during a Bing search on my SurfacePro 7, I noticed an Android-style "bubble" on the right-hand side of the results page. This is not the first time I have noticed such a bubble (they have appeared more recently however,) but it is the first time I interacted with one. I interacted with this one because it looked to be entirely in Korean. The bubble fly-out had the word "Bing" in English and "Microsoft Edge" in English. Everything else was in what appeared to be Korean. There was a barely visible information link circle. When I clicked on it, a drop-down appeared and it seemed it may have been some kind of chat. Additional text appeared. And suddenly the drop down closed back to the bubble on the right side of the screen then totally disappeared. WHAT??? That whole experience feels sketchy at best and for those with a conspiracy theory mind-bent, almost as if I am being surveilled.
Later, I was reading an article about Madison Cawthorne and wanted to see the entire article on Business Insider. I clicked the link to go through to the website. When it came it up, it was mostly in Japanese.
I am using the latest update to the Dev channel. I was able to replicate the MS Start article to Business insider bringing up Japanese in the release version of Edge as well.
Any info and help would be appreciated.
