eBooks On New Edge Chromium Browser

Will the new edge chromium browser support ePUBS?, this is one of  my favourite feature in the Current Edge Browser

    Reading epubs on EdgeHTML and pdfs in general is a very smooth experience. Hope MS can replicate this.

     

    EdgeHTML always seemed like the most lightweight-fastest epub/pdf reader.
