Does Edge affect Copilot?

I installed KB5030310 to get Copilot. It worked out of the box, and then abruptly, it quit working. Win+C fails to launch Copilot. (When I hit Win+C, a small window "More Options" briefly appears in the upper right corner of the screen.)

I run Edge Canary as my browser w/ all defaults enabled in the App Settings.

Is it possible that Edge Canary breaks Copilot?

I have three laptops, and Copilot is broken in all three. Something in my setup breaks Copilot.
