This is a much needed feature for me and it's the only reason why I've not switched from Firefox. Hope the team will seriously consider to implement it.

you can switch if you want, it was added to the browser last year

    Yes, for now, only insider channels (Canary and possibly in Dev too)

Exactly me too!
They also should warn us about how many tabs are currently running before close just like Firefox!
Otherwise they will be adding half the function!!
