Discussion - Set Aside Tabs and Warn on Close
I don't know if you saw the post above but the feature is added, to warn on close when user tries to close the window and there are more than 1 tab open.
that prompt belongs to IE, it makes no sense in Edge. as a user, if I click on the X button on Edge window to close it, Edge warns me there are more tabs open, which is good, but if it were to ask "do you want to close the current tab", it would be confusing. because what tab? I'm clicking on the X button on Edge window, Not the X button on an individual tab.
once that feature makes it to more stable channels, we can expect a policy for it to be introduced as well.
HotCakeX lforbes It would therefore make sense if a new message saying 'Closing this window will also close the web apps you are currently using. Would you like to continue?' (Yes/No) is added to Edge that pops up when someone clicks the 'red' X on the far right to close the browser window instead of individual tabs.
Most of my older clients tend to close the whole window instead of individual tabs, and often spend time reopening websites afterwards despite my showing them different alternatives.

so if the PWA that you are using has multiple open tabs, you are warned before closing.
works on Edge Version 89.0.757.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit)
