Disable updates for specific extension

I've just started using Edge and have an extension I just installed and want to make sure that it doesn't update. Is there any way of doing that? Searching around only brought up results for auto updating Edge itself and not a specific extension.

  • Why do you want to do this? If the extension publishes security fixes, it would be important to get those.

I can't speak to the disabling extension updates use case, but I would love an option to be alerted when an extension is updated and even provided a link to the changelog so I can see exactly what changed.

If the alerts are 'too noisy', at least have an 'update history' page (i.e., edge://extensions-history/) that keeps a log of all extension updates/modifications.

josh_bodner The most recent version breaks a script I made that uses the extension. I was hoping I could temporary stay at the release without the bug.
