Known issues:
- Users of certain ad blocking extensions may experience playback errors on YouTube. As a workaround, temporarily disabling the extension should allow playback to proceed. See this help article for more details.
- Some users are still running into an issue where all tabs and extensions immediately crash with a STATUS_INVALID_IMAGE_HASH error. The most common cause of this error is outdated security or antivirus software from vendors like Symantec, and in those cases, updating that software will fix it.
- Users of the Kaspersky Internet Suite who have the associated extension installed may sometimes see webpages like Gmail fail to load. This failure is due to the main Kaspersky software being out of date, and is thus fixed by making sure the latest version is installed.
- Some users are still seeing favorites get duplicated. This issue should be reduced now that automatic deduplication has been introduced into Insider channels, but we’re still rolling that out in Stable. We’ve also seen duplication happen when running the manual deduplicator on multiple machines before either machine has a chance to fully sync its changes, so make sure to leave plenty of time in between runs of the deduplicator.
- Some users are seeing “wobbling” behavior when scrolling using trackpad gestures or touchscreens, where scrolling in one dimension also causes the page to subtly scroll back and forth in the other. Note that this only affects certain websites and seems to be worse on certain devices. This is most likely related to our ongoing work to bring scrolling back to parity with Edge Legacy’s behavior, so if this behavior is undesirable, you can temporarily turn it off by disabling the edge://flags/#edge-experimental-scrolling flag.
As always, we couldn’t do this without all your fantastic feedback!

- stevexyzBrass ContributorYou added the ability to hide the Extensions button from the Toolbar.... which forces all the extensions that I hid to reappear? Seriously?!? The extensions I hid should stay hidden!
- ajasnzBrass ContributorThere is still no option to hide both the extension button AND some of the extensions from the toolbar

- Added the ability to hide the Extensions button by right-clicking it on the address bar or in the … menu.
Was this missing? I thought this meant we could now hide the extensions button and the extensions themselves, but I guess not.

eduardobragaxz this was just about bringing parity with the other toolbar buttons like favorites and history, which let you hide them by right-clicking them, but don't worry, we're still working on letting you hide both!
- eduardobragaxzIron ContributorThat's very nice to hear 😄

josh_bodnerNice selection of bug fixes as usual, and some great new features. But what's up with the huge text size in my Favourites the last few weeks? I was hoping that would have been fixed today.
See these examples. The text size of the folders in the drop down is bigger than those on the Favourites bar, and the text size of items in the folders is also bigger than the folder names.
I also left some feedback a while ago to be able to be able to Sort a Favourites folder by right clicking on it, and also if I move a Favourite's position inside a folder, the folder closes. That's quite annoying if I want to move several items, it should stay open so long as my mouse is there.- pp_e2Iron Contributor
I've looked into the issue, but as you didn't tipped us what system you ride on I checked the fonts in my recluse den.
I do not use horizontal Favorite bar. I prefer right sidebar aka panel with pinned Favorites. Clicking its icon in toolbar swiftly hide/show the panel, so it's convenient. No need for the extra horiz space consumed by Edge when watching windows on FulHD monitor.
I'm not dead tiered now, but I might have overlooked something. My fonts are the same to me. See the screenshot in its glory (full size).
Pay attention, as well, to Fonts settings (second screenshot).

I haven't changed these settings at all, they are default. But they only apply to text in websites, not to the UI itself. Changing this doesn't resolve my problem.
I'm typing this on an older laptop with a 1366x768 resolution. My Windows text size is set to 100%. My new laptop will arrive in the next few days with a 1920x1080 display. It will be interesting to see if I have the same issue there, and how the interface is with a high res display, and text zoom at different presets (125%, 150%)
josh_bodner - Giving a child item a bigger size than it's parent is a weird UI choice for me. Can you add a UI text size slider please? I think this would be appreciated by people with very high res displays too.

The retarded huge giant **bleep**ing dumb font is a dealbreaker.
I was trying edge today again, and after reading the forums I'll have to return to the outdated chrome version I was using.
Microsoft is always knee-bent on being an **bleep**. The bing-sidebar. The assholeness with changing search options. The bloated context menu. The stupid extensions menu that can't be **bleep**ing hidden.
The is a very simple principle that will keep ALL users happy: just don't be a giant **bleep** and allow users who don't want the garbage to turn it off.
- josh_bodnerSilver ContributorThe bigger font size is by design. It's part of our work to refresh the visuals for Windows 11, and you'll see that it now matches the size in other menus like the right-click menu. As far as sorting your folders, if you do that from other places like the Favorites menu or page, you won't need to worry about the popups closing.
