It sounds like something may have changed on your machine to prevent high res video. Assuming you haven't changed your hardware setup, is the edge://flags/#edge-playready-drm-win10 flag still enabled (or default)? Is hardware acceleration enabled? And if you go to edge://gpu, do you see that "Compositing" is "Hardware Accelerated", "Direct composition" is "true", and "PlayReady Hardware DRM disabled" is "false"?

Everything you mentioned is on default settings. Also the options on edge://gpu are the same as you mentioned. I really can't see the issue here. Anyway, I don't know if it can have an impact but I currently have 2 monitors and they are both connected through DisplayPort cables.
