Dev channel update to 86.0.594.1 is live
josh_bodner The HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE header captured from InPrivate mode of Edge Dev 86.0.594.1 returns Displayed Language, not Preferred Language. The same header of a normal browsing window returns correctly (Preferred Language). It has been happened since Edge 85 and affects localization of some websites (such as Wikipedia).

Microsoft
sdmmr The InPrivate Accept-Language behavior was inherited from upstream Chrome: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1077547. We're still discussing whether we should keep this behavior.

Eric_Lawrence Thanks for reporting! I understand the concern about privacy issue.
I think that users should be able to select which language(s) can be preferred in InPrivate mode. For example, Edge can add a "Allow in InPrivate" checkbox in "More actions …" next to a language, just like Extensions.

sdmmr would it be possible for you to download Chrome Canary or Chrome Dev and see if it happens there as well? That'll really help us narrow down where to start looking for the issue.

josh_bodner Same issue with Chrome Dev 86.0.4221.3
One more thing is the below flag has been removed in Edge Dev and Canary that I think it is a great option:Assigns the shortcut Ctrl+K to Duplicate Tab
By default, both Ctrl+E and Ctrl+K are the shortcuts for Focus Search. If enabled, Ctrl+K is assigned to Duplicate Tab. – Windows#edge-use-alternate-duplicate-tab-shortcut
Is it moved to Settings or no longer available? I think it is worth to keep this flag.- josh_bodnerAug 13, 2020Former Employee
sdmmr Oh and in the meantime, there are plenty of extensions that let you assign a keyboard shortcut to tab duplication, not to mention middle-clicking the refresh button!
