Dev channel update to 82.0.453.2 is live

josh_bodner Thanks for the update, but I wonder when favorites syncing will be fixed. Toggling syncing on populates the favorites bar with very old favorites from earlier Edge builds. I don't get why the current favorites are not the ones sent to the cloud and then synced. This happens with either different channels in the same machine or same channel in different machines.

 

I disabled favorites syncing for the time being and regurlarly export them, because the feature is completely broken. Also, my preference of showing icons only is ignored when these (old) favorites get synced.

In one of the recent Top feedback posts, they said that the fix only applies to Dev and Canary channels for now, so if one of your other channels you're referring to includes Beta and Stable then you won't see the effect,

    HotCakeX Forgot to mention I'm using Dev and Canary builds, which shouldn't be happening by now.

    OK, few weeks agor we got Dev diaries every Tuesday... after few weeks has been changed to Wednesday... now there are not news about Dev updates.

     

    I know that Stable and Beta channels are stopped right now because of covid virus, but why no updates for Dev? 

     

    You should be in touch with your community and testers!

      Google resumed Chromium today, there shouldn't be any more problems and delays.

        HotCakeX we should have better feedback from devs... they wanna our help with testing, feature suggestions, reporting bugs but they do not follow 7 days releasing period doe dev channel... it was fine 2 months ago, since that it is not good (maybe some people in Edge dev team have changed? Idk) Please stay with us and keep in touch.... you need our feedback, without it you will not get more users and will not make a better browser! Keep that in mind!!!
