Curundor  Interesting.  Mine are still rounded, and you seem to be missing the drop shadow as well.  See image below.  I'm using Windows 10 latest Insider Release Preview.  What OS are you using?

Still rounded corners, with drop-shadows, for me as well. Latest Edge Dev on Windows 10.

    I would prefer it to be square too but I don't notice any shadows or drop down shadows..I'm not even sure where to look for them

      The easiest way is to hit CTRL-F for "Find on page". The resulting pop-up, from the address bar, will have rounded corners and a drop-shadow. Still does for me on the latest version from today.

        these look nice to be honest, I never even noticed them before, it was just part of the UI for me but I guess if they will be removed I won't miss them 🙂

    TrafGib I know I'm probably in the minority, here, but I like the rounded corners.

      I can go either way on the rounded corners, but I do prefer the contrast and distinction that the drop-shadows add.
