Some feedback:
1) Pinning Wizard: "It will occasionally pop up from your Task Bar and suggest...", I sure hope 'occasionally' can be changed to 'never ever' . If I want something pinned, I will do so manually rather than be nagged about it.
2) Why on earth are the favorites still hidden away under "Other favorites" while favorite bar entries get front seat? It should be the other way around. The favorite bar entries already have a prime spot; the favorite bar. To illustrate this point, here's my current workaround to avoid having to navigate to an unnecessary submenu: I enable the favorite bar and access the favorites by clicking the 'Other favorites' button there instead of clicking the favorites button in the toolbar. They are more readily available via the favorite bar, than via the favorites menu. That's backwards.

I think this will fix your issue,
- Go to: edge://favorites/
- from the left side select "other favorites"
- Press CTRL + A to select them all
- now drag and drop them to the Favorites bar, right below the mini search bar on top left
- after that, use drag and drop to bring your most important favorites at top and re-order everything however you like.
- Doing this will Remove "Other favorites" from the favorites toolbar so there will be no confusion either.
