Bug #1

New bug in this build that I'd not had before: a black screen when moving a Chromium Edge window to a second monitor. Felt like a combination of old bugs:

 

  • Black Edge window with no UI; entire browser frozen (screenshot below)
  • Occurred when moving this Edge window to a second monitor
  • By closing the GPU process in the browser task manager, the browser unfroze itself & the UI returned

 

Bug #2

A weird taskbar icon mismatch (though this has lasted 10+ builds, even with the old Edge icon) on two machines running Chromium Edge:

 

-- Main window: taskbar icon does not have Edge Dev sticker 

-- F12 developer tools window: taskbar icon has the Edge Dev sticker

I am suffering from the same problem here in all versions of edge since the upgrade to Windows 1909. I have to do the same thing to close the GPU process.
