Dev channel update to 80.0.320.3 is live
Hello !
I'm experiencing some weird hangs (v80.0.323.0 and v79.0.309.12).
Sometimes when I'm using, the Edge just freezes the graphics, not the sounds or other functions like menu, even the tab mute button works. But the tab itself hangs (can't change tabs too).
It happened in multiple sites.
It's the first time I'm installing, so it's an clean installation. The process in Edge task manager looks ok too. What I can do to fix it ?

JulianoFL this sounds like the known issue "Sometimes the browser will appear to not respond to any user input (clicking or scrolling in webpages doesn’t do anything, hovering over UI doesn’t make it change), but clicking on certain buttons still works (like the … menu). The cause of this is due to an error in the GPU process, and opening the browser task manager (right-click near the window minimize/maximize/close buttons or hit shift+esc on the keyboard) will open a window that will allow you to end the GPU process, which will fix the issue."

1st thing to try is: Un-install the Edge C Channels that are misbehaving. Go grab a fresh DownLoad from https://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com/en-us/download. Re-install & see if things change for the better. Please, report back w/ the results. Thanks.

Hello,
I got the last canary build (80.0.326.0) running with no problems until now.
This is what a did before reinstalling it:
- Downloaded Revo Uninstaller
- Removed all versions of Edge with Revo, and scanned with advanced option
- Reinstalled Edge

Julian,
It honestly gets hard to know what to say or think... I read comments about crashes and missing/broken jumplists & more in both Dev & Canary. All this whilst, I cannot repro the issues and whilst, I am experiencing none of them, myself in either Dev or Canary. It is interesting to note that these things, obviously, do not affect all Users.
Cheers,
Drew
