Dev channel update to 78.0.244.0 is live
josh_bodner Hi, I see an option in my mobile Edge beta to sync passwords, but they are not syncing with desktop Edge Dev 😞

Mjacob2030 password syncing doesn't work with mobile yet.
DavidGB I guess it could work but the last word on password sync is "[...] this will soon extend to other platforms like iOS and Android".
They may be running more A/B testing, but I know 100% it does not work on my mobile running the latest beta build on Android.
Must be the A/B, then, because I know 100% it worked for me. When I installed Android Edge, then Edge Beta, only a little over a week ago, I quite deliberately didn't have it import anything from Chrome or Firefox so I could see when the different syncs started working. On first syncing it just got the favorites from my laptop Edge Dev, and the password list was empty. Then this Edge Dev update the password and form fill data option became active on the laptop and I turned them on, but the matching Android Edge Beta sync options were still greyed out and the password and form fill data remained empty (and I posted in this thread about having the new Edge Dev sync options but nothing to sync with). Then there was the latest Android Edge Beta update a few days ago, first thing I looked at after the update was the sync options and found the password and form fill data options were now active and ticked, and when I then went straight to the password list it had already gone from empty to full with all the passwords from Edge Dev, plus the little bit of form fill data I have in Edge Dev. So it was definitely the last Android Edge Beta that added that syncing for me - I was actively looking for when those settings were enabled first thing after each update
If this is A/B and it's like it was with the last Edge Dev A/B, you'll probably get it next Android Edge Beta update.
