Dev channel update to 78.0.244.0 is live
Have you restarted the computers since the Edge Dev update? I find that the Start live tiles for all 'Store' apps go black after an update until I do a computer re-start (which I find very annoying, but on the other hand is often the first time I notice they ave updated).

It's still blank black though.
On a side note about the app store update live tile bug: For me, they don't turn completely black when updated, just transparent with a stuck update progress bar at the bottom of the tile - So maybe it's a variation of the app update live tile issue? Microsoft Edge Dev is not an app from the Store so I am guessing that this is a separate bug.

Are you on an Insider Build w/ these Store issues? On the IB recently Store items have been VERY slow.
Y'all are making me feel extra good that I don't use Tiles, anywhere (wink)

Yeah it's on insider builds, but it is also on live builds. It is by no means a new bug. I reported it a few times through out the years, but since it is not fixed by now, my guess is that they don't plan to because of the work with WCOS, and other insider stuff I won't mention here, since this is Edge insider forum 🙂

I, really, don't have or use them. Humour is usually ignored or missed or scorned. Things written don't come across as intended.
Interesting, what you say. I'd only noticed the behavior recently & not in 18362, just my IB. But, anyway, good to know as it points no finger at Edge C. Thanks for the info.
