Does anyone know how to turn off the automatic downloads "protection"? If you disable it then multiple downloads are not allowed.
Or if it can't be disabled does anyone know of a working syntax that applies to all pages? I tried a few different combos but none of them worked.

In this update it was possible to select Swedish.
Selected Swedish in languages settings and restarted Edge Dev and
settings displayed;
"Microsoft Edge is displayed in this language"
but it was not true, still in English. Anything I missed?

Downloading:
I've just been doing my first downloads in Edge Dev of a couple of large zip files. I do like the download bar at the bottom (though I know many people don't), and actually use extensions to provide something similar in Firefox and Google Chrome since they stopped having download bars/shelves of their own. However, there are two aspects I don't like of the current implementation in Edge Dev.
1 While the download is going on, on the download bar at the bottom, the amount downloaded and the full size plus the time to finish are shown, but the download speed is not. Of the various stats that could be there, the download speed is the one I want to see most - please consider redesigning so that the speed is shown.
2 To see what was shown on the actual Download page while the download was ongoing, I went to that and that DID show the speed. But opening the download page caused the download bar to close, and there's no apparent way to re-open it - which was hopeless when I wanted to go back to browsing but keep an eye on the ongoing download progress. Please keep the download bar showing at least on all other pages after the download page is opened - or have a control to re-open it after leaving the download page.
3 I suspect that some users will hate having the download bar at all, so you ought to also have an option to disable it. (As I presume that the extension I use to give a download bar in Google Chrome will also work in Edge Dev, I suppose I WOULD want an option to turn the native one off if you can't or won't change it as I'd like, so it wasn't in the way of using the extension!)

Also any news on breakpoint line numbers being unreadable in dark mode of developer tools? - DavidGBIron Contributor
In the previous update thread, I posted how I hadn't got the options to sync passwords and form fill data, then after the additional update that I had then got those sync option, but lamented that as I only have one Windows device and the Android Edge app was still only syncing favourites I had nothing for Edge Dev to sync with.
I now see that the Android Edge (Beta) update last night also added the password and form fill data syncing, and my phone promptly synced and got all the passwords and form fill data from my laptop Edge Dev.
Cool.
Roll on History and Open tabs.

I'm not quite sure if this is a feature request or about a bug in current behaviour.
We have a choice, on startup, between the NTP or set page(s) on the one hand, or continuing where we left off at the end of the previous session on the other. Personally I usually want the NTP, but occasionally want to carry on from where I was. In Firefox this is easy, because in the main (hamburger) menu there is a 'Restore Previous Session' (which can even be added as a toolbar button), so I have Firefox set to start on the NTP, and on those occasions I want to carry on from where I was I just click 'Restore Previous Session', which restores where I ended the last session in that window.
In Edge Dev there is no such button or link. However, and with my Startup set to NTP, if I go to ellipsis-menu>History immediately after startup, under 'Recently closed' there is an 'x tabs' (where x is a number) with a folder icon which appears to be the tabs open at the end of the previous session (although I haven't been using it enough to be sure that's exactly what it is and always will be). Clicking it has re-produced where I was at the end of the previous session, BUT it produces where I was the previous session in a NEW window. So I then have one Edge Dev window reproducing my previous session sitting exactly on top of another Edge Dev window just with the NTP in it. Is that the intended behaviour? Or is the opening of the previous session from that History Recently closed x tabs in a new window a bug?
If it is intended, then I would like to request a link in the main ellipsis menu to re-open the last session in THAT window.
If it's a bug and it's supposed to open in the same window, then that's OK then, once it is fixed ... although I'd still prefer a 'restore last session' in the main menu rather than to have to dig into History to do it ... and it will be not at all obvious to many users that the History>Recently closed x tabs will restore the previous session - that functionality should be indicated in the interface.

josh_bodner Loving new Edge Chromium. Only feature I really miss that would make this my exclusive browser is Save Tabs. Really hope you bring that feature from current Edge.

Especially given that the one from the Google Chrome web store already exists and presumably will work in Edge Dev, it's odd that Microsoft has OneNote Web Clipper extensions in the Google Chrome and Firefox stores but not in the Edge Insider Addons store. You'd think interoperability with other Microsoft products would have been high on the extensions priority list.
