- Paul_VCSteel ContributorQuestion: when I click on a link within a website installed as an app, the link opens in the Sidebar instead of in a new browser window. How can I prevent this behavior? I could not find a Setting or a Flag for this. (I prefer such links to open in a new window).
- DestroyzerCopper ContributorHope the crashing when typing or selecting text in autofill received a fix.

Mine too. Nice to have the address bar working again without any search engines lost though. Plus, any flags that I had previously enabled, like the JSON viewer, are still enabled.

- braxton_millsCopper ContributorFirst thing's first: I'm enthralled with what the MS Edge dev team has done with this browser. The "workspaces" recent change along, Bing Chat, and MS Edge's relative light load on RAM makes this browser wonderful.
However, especially with the new "force" to a darker dark mode, it's clear to me Microsoft still struggles with third-party/community add-ons and themes.
I tried searching the Edge Add-ons store for themes, and the only ones I could find are a handful of themes from Microsoft themselves. I really wish the dev team would invest in a nicer Add-ons experience, especially when it comes to themes.
I don't mind the new look, but I preferred the old one. At least upload the old theme to the Add-ons store (pretty please)?- ahattangadiCopper ContributorI believe you can install themes from the Chrome WebStore as well.

Eric_E I'm experiencing extreme intermittent flickering on MacOS. All the Edge Dev windows go totally white and the proper content flickers in and out but is not legible. Never seen it before this version. This happened immediately after the update to this version (I pressed the "restart to update" button and the new version came up flickering right from the start). I quit and restarted and it went away.... but it just happened again, and it's somewhat reproducible:
* Go to messages.google.com
* hit the "Open In App" button next to the URL to launch the PWA
* The "Messages" app launches, and all windows immediately start flickering.... both Messages and Edge Dev windows are illegible.
* If I quit Messages the flickering stops.

- DeViLhoODCopper ContributorHave the dev team looked into the issue of YouTube artifacting during playback? I have been plagued with this for the past two months - Win 11, RTX 3080.
It tends to happen after a minute of watching a video, with grey and black blocks appearing in random spots only on the video itself. It sporadically resolves itself after minimizing the browser and then re-opening. It can be resolved completely by disabling GPU acceleration, but obviously this is not an ideal solution.
Another user attached a great example screenshot of the issue on their second post in this thread https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/discussions/weird-artifacts/m-p/3715988

This becomes more significant when more tabs are open too - the favicon extends past the tab border.
