- Ryan BuckwalterBrass ContributorIs it possible to get a Mica theme again? That translucent effect was perfect, and I really wish I could have it back. Why was it removed?
- ZacWBrass ContributorI agree. The new dark color is nice, but I'm really craving the translucent Fluent design.

Ryan Buckwalter Yes, you can!
- Create a new msedge shortcut including the switch --enable-features=msVisualRejuvMica,msVisualRejuvHubs on the end of the shortcut.
- Completely close msedge.exe (make sure that isn't running on the background)
- Run msedge from the shortcut you just created
- Then go to Settings -> Appearance -> "Show Windows 11 visual effects in title bar and toolbar (Preview)" and turn on. It will ask you to restart your browser. After click on 'restart' he will get the Mica effect every time you run msedge through your shortcut.
This works on Canary, Dev, Beta and even for those who got the "Try the new look of Microsoft Edge" on stable channel
- HandsomePlate40Brass ContributorThe new dark color is great!
- Paul_VCSteel ContributorWondering why the "new dark color" is not listed in the official changes list above...

Another bug which got fixed is that upon selecting text on a web page, we can right-click/search again. Great!
Yet this fix was not listed in the announcement above. May I kindly suggest that future announcements provide a full & comprehensive rundown of all the new features and resolved issues? This would be highly appreciated. Thank you.
- ahattangadiCopper ContributorIt seems like the address bar search bug has also been fixed.

This becomes more significant when more tabs are open too - the favicon extends past the tab border.
- ZacWBrass ContributorMy edge:\\flags page is now empty with this update.

Mine too. Nice to have the address bar working again without any search engines lost though. Plus, any flags that I had previously enabled, like the JSON viewer, are still enabled.

page not opening after this new update and cannot access the features. fix it soon. - karveiraCopper ContributorMy search engines are back!
- DeViLhoODCopper ContributorHave the dev team looked into the issue of YouTube artifacting during playback? I have been plagued with this for the past two months - Win 11, RTX 3080.
It tends to happen after a minute of watching a video, with grey and black blocks appearing in random spots only on the video itself. It sporadically resolves itself after minimizing the browser and then re-opening. It can be resolved completely by disabling GPU acceleration, but obviously this is not an ideal solution.
Another user attached a great example screenshot of the issue on their second post in this thread https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/discussions/weird-artifacts/m-p/3715988
Cheers. - Paul_VCSteel ContributorQuestion: when I click on a link within a website installed as an app, the link opens in the Sidebar instead of in a new browser window. How can I prevent this behavior? I could not find a Setting or a Flag for this. (I prefer such links to open in a new window).
