MicrosoftDev Channel update to 114.0.1807.1 is live
Hello Insiders! Today, we are announcing the release of build 114.0.1807.1 to the Dev channel. Mobile devices will get the Dev update at a later date. This update contains a variety of fixes and new features. For more details on the changes, please take a moment to read through the highlights below. Increased availability in Edge Workspaces consumer preview
Added features:
- Added CTRL + SHIFT + / shortcut for Sidebar auto-hide/always show.
- WebView2:
- Added experimental Profile Autofill/Password Autosave
Improved reliability:
- Android:
- Fixed browser crash related to autofill.
- Enterprise:
- Fixed browser crash when resigning in with an AAD account on Android.
Changed behavior:
- Fixed Auto-hide sidebar button not working.
- Fixed Sidebar pane not rendering properly.
- Fixed pinned Collection, History, and Favorites pane not displaying correctly when Sidebar is set to auto-hide mode.
- iOS:
- Fixed dark mode not working in some sites.
- Android:
- Fixed dark mode caused some web pages to be blank.
- WebView2:
- Enterprise:
- Fixed the blank Profile preferences settings page on macOS.

I am not able to see bing chat in bing.com as well in sidebar
while my account is eligible for bing chat
- With the release of this build version, the single item that was 'fixed' that makes me want to use tis browser more now is this:
Changed behavior:
Fixed Auto-hide sidebar button not working.
I had previously sent in feedback about this and this does in fact prove to me that the developers of the browser do in fact listen to the feedback that gets submitted by the users. - For Italian users.
With my keyboard you need first to press Windows+Spacebar to set the English keyboard and then press Control+Shift+-
If you do it with the Italian keyboard layout you just zoom less the page. - Reported via Feedback but wanted to note here - there appears to be a bug with this version where closing an InPrivate window causes all instances of Edge to crash. Running on macOS here.
- Just installed Version 114.0.1807.6, and closing InPrivate windows still crashes Edge completely.

- Massive regression in newest build - sidebar broken, unable to add tabs to the sidebar anymore
- Not even the button add site to the sidebar inside the sidebar option is working, I hope this breakage is only temporary

A strange addition. The operation is not common enough to warrant a shortcut. More importantly, it uses a symbol that gets moved around on the keyboard layout according to the language setting. On the Finnish and Swedish keyboard, "/" is typed as Shift-7, and Ctrl-Shift-7 just selects all text. - I tried the Control+Shift+/ shortcut but it doesn't work. I've tried with the sidebar activated and not but the command unfortunately does nothing.
Is there a way I can solve this problem? Does anyone else have this issue? You guys with the Edge team messed up collections. Big time.
Removed functionality yet on the same stroke, cluttered collections. Gratituously. Out of the blue. No advance warning. It looks like a circus now. Literally. Don't trust my word, trust the attached screenshot for some enlightment.

The vertical tabs empty space after new tab button cannot be drag and drop which is a major loss of productivity.
