Hi! The team shipped a fix and it’s available in Microsoft Edge Canary versions 147.0.3912.0 and above. If you are able to test, please give it a try and see if the issue is resolved. Thanks!

Thank you so much for your reply, and take in consideration my "issue". The thing is , a couple of days, I tried in Microsoft Edge Dev , 147.0.3890.0 , in same system, same user account , and the flicker desktop icons, when Edge Dev , close , does not happen.. 🤔 I appreciate your suggestion but is not a solution , to the bug . ,after a few Edge stable build updates , this behavior still persist . 146.0.3856.84 (Official build) (64-bit) , the bug continue .

Hi EDIMicrosoft - You are correct, if you are using version 146.0.3856.84, the bug will still reproduce.

You will need to be on versions 147.0.3912.0 and above to have the fix. Thanks!

  Hi Kelly_Y , exactly , as you said , after update to 147.0,.3912.x , the flicker issue when the Edge is closed , has been fixed. Thank you 👍🏻
