Dark theme not working on Linux

When switching to the "Dark" theme option in Edge's settings, only the title bar is affected. (the search box, bookmarks bar, etc.)

The settings menu, and all sites that automatically change to a dark theme when they detect the browser has that set, remain in their light themes.

This started in Microsoft Edge Version 104.0.1293.1 (Official build) dev (64-bit).

It appears that this is resolved in the latest dev version - Version 107.0.1402.2 (Official build) dev (64-bit)

EDIT: This is a 3 year old chromium bug with no resolution.

I'm trying to solve this right now. I think it has something to due with GTK, I am using KDE and noticed this problem also exists on other GTK apps. I plan on install Gnome 43 to see if the behavior is the same.

This is a separate issue. Trying to get Chromium to recognize a dark GTK theme has never worked for me. However, Edge's built-in dark theme has always worked fine (within the browser only) - until now, of course. (see attached)
