franco27 Same when I logged into Google Gmail to check my work email. It did it once, but than it was fine. Did it on Youtube too. I've had this happen on Chrome Canary a few times in the past too (same exact thing) that's usually fixed in the next day or day after the next daily update. Like others have said, It's probably just a bug or something new being experimented with that's causing minor crashes and it will be fixed next update (or two). I'm a beta tester for Edge on Android and the version that came out yesterday morning brought every page crashing upon immediate launch for me (Samsung Note 8), but they fixed it with this mornings update (42.0.24.3892) and all works fine and dandy. Just one of those things that will happen from time to time when using the rawest of beta versions. The upside is Canary is updated daily to correct any issues.
- I've been getting the same random crashes too in latest Edge Canary. Somtimes on YouTube videos or on this very same forum site.
it only happens when I use a tab for at least 5mins (very approximately) which means it doesn't happen quickly after opening a tab, user must stay there for a few minutes before the crash happens.
I'm sure it's temporary though and gets fixed in the next update. I suspect it has something to do with the memory or tab just overloads (wild guesses)- franco27Copper Contributor

it's not immediate, but less than five minutes.
