Close Edge by double click on upper left corner
I wonder if Microsoft could implement good old "Double click on upper left corner to close" 
There is a related conversation from May 2019, are there any updates on this?

Your suggestion is not bad but there is a problem that there will be a button on the top left corner coming for an upcoming feature - Vertical tabs in which you can see your tabs vertically on a left panel and you can rearrange them easily. you can see that in this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SkHWXH49js @ 27:00. So, there can be problems in the future if this feature is implemented with your suggested feature.
