Click to Call not a feature in Chromium Edge?

Legacy Edge allowed you to click on a phone number and it would attempt to place a call through your default app set up for the TEL protocol.  In my case, it would provide me with a Teams pop up asking if I wanted to dial the selected phone number.

Chromium Edge does not appear to support this feature.  

Chrome has a setting for it in chrome://Flags as shown in the attached.

Chromium Edge does not have this same setting as shown in the attached.

Are there plans to add support for click to call in Chromium Edge like Legacy Edge has?
