You're welcome,
by the way, I've seen lots of posts like yours here too, so feel free to stay with us and keep using this community if you want to 🙂
in order to remove your data from Microsoft Tech Community, you'll need to delete your account from profile settings:
https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/personal-profile:close-account
but please remember that this tech community has lots of communities for a wide variety of products other than Edge browser, so when you delete your account, you won't be able to use them unless you create another account here with your Microsoft account.

K. I'll hang here for a while. I am trying to make the Dev version on Linux work for me, so maybe there's something I can contribute. There may not be many of us who using Edge as their primary browser on a Chromebook!

- HotCakeXMar 08, 2021MVPWell Chromebooks are locked down devices, they don't officially support 3rd party programs such as Edge out of the box, but Edge supports Linux so if you are running a supported Linux distro you should be able to install it.

Already installed and I am using it as my primary browser. ChromeOS provides a Linux environment called Crostini, and I run Edge in a Crostini container. Works well!
I can't use the Edge sync function, but I can live with that.
So far, I like it a lot!
- HotCakeXMar 08, 2021MVPThat's good to know,
we're all waiting for more news about features on Edge Linux, specially the sync and Beta and possibly a date for stable channel releases
