Changing the speed on youtube lags the video when using Edge Beta (happens without any extensions)

This isn't happening on normal Edge, only on the beta build.

I need to be able to have 2 seperate installations of Edge but this issue is giving me a headache because I always like to speed up and slow down youtube vidoes but this is causing the videos to lag for a few seconds (isn't the case in any other browser).

This isn't related to any modified extensions or settings or flags as I reinstalled Edge beta and reset all of the settings and flags. I also tried in incognito mode without any extensions being enabled.

Please fix this issue.
