Canary crashing

I noticed a short while ago that Edge Canary had disappeared. So..... I reopened it and sure enough, a couple of minutes later it crashed. Did the cursory repair and still have the issue. Has anyone else seen this. Just started today.

 

Version 128.0.2689.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit)
 
Yesterday I remove and reinstalled. Wanted to confirm I am seeing the crashes on 
Version 128.0.2690.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) as well.

The browser updated to Version 128.0.2703.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) and has stayed up since 08:42 CDT this morning. So far, so good.
 
The browser has stayed up since the update to Version 128.0.2703.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) yesterday morning. And there has been an additional update to Version 128.0.2704.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) I think that this can be marked as closed.
 
If anyone is still having issues and you have updated to either 2703 or 2704, you can reply to this thread or start a new one.

    It would seem that 128.0.2703.0 does not crash...a week late for a fix...but a fix none the less

        I just updated to 128.0.2720.0, and it's working again, so they seem to have fixed it. I left an issue on feedback section., and now it works again in Canary 128.0.2720.0

      Agreed. If it stays up until the end of the day, I'll update the thread. But the update does seem to have fixed the issue.

      Just updated. Version 128.0.2703.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit). Time will tell if all is well :smile:

    It's also very odd that Canary has had no updates in Days.

      You're welcome! I usually have all 3 up and use them randomly. As far as updates go, I can understand that the Fourth's holiday messes with schedules. I would like to think if this was production Edge, it would have been fixed by now. Or at least I hope it would be :smile:

        Edge Canary usually updates once if not twice a day.
        And we have no one to contact or interact with about issues anymore.
        It's sad.

    Version 128.0.2690.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) still crashing regularly for me.

        since microsoft is slow fixing this i have found older version of edge canary (build 128.0.2688.0 ) extracted with nanazip, found inside another 7zip file and inside the proper working build, no crash running that.

        Don't think it will change before next week. Using Edge PR in the meantime

    cjahn50 Just curious if you're seeing the same... On top of the crashing, I am also seeing this problem: I use two rows of quick links and in Version 128.0.2690.0 I can no longer rearrange them to my preferred order.

      I just checked and only saw 1 row (I also use 2 rows). The settings revert back to 1 row. I change it and got 2 rows, but could not rearrange them. After the crash, back to 1 row even with 2 rows set to display. Hope that made sense.

      It would seen that this version and 2689 are really messed up.

        Version 128.0.2690.0 started crashing for me today. All was ok yesterday

    Yes periodic crashing on 128.0.2690.0 (89 as well). No specific combination of websites or content seems to matter.

      Agreed. I have left it open on a blank tab and it still crashes.
