Can The Developer Tools Layout Be Customised?

Question

Is there a way to customise developer tools layout? This is my preferred stable channel general layout here with the elements, styles and computed panels. As far as I know, this is the default layout.

The current canary channel default layout appears to be this, without the computed panel.

In both cases there appears to be no way to select which panels display. On resizing the layout changes automatically.

Is there a way to choose which panels show and to change their layout?
