Bug: rapidly deleting history items can accidentally open page

Hit control-h to show history list. Place mouse cursor above the 'close' cross of a history item. Left-click rapidly to close many history items in a row. After a few rapid clicks, one of these history items will be opened rather than deleted. Oops!
