I am experiencing similar symptoms on Fedora 40 - i have Outlook and Teams as web apps and not always, but very often both of them hang a few seconds when making them active before i can start working with them. Same with the browser when web apps are active.
I've had this issue for a while and have been looking for a fix for this. After turning off ublock origin everything has started working smoothly. evarring are you using this extension by any chance?
Hiavrahamdavis - thank you for your input. Unfortunately this did not help in my case - i indeed do use uBlock, but i have tried running Edge without any extensions enabled and still have the same issue unfortunately.
