Blurry downscaled images

Hi!
Downscaled images in Edge (as in all Chromium based browsers) are very blurry comparing to Firefox.
I know that this problem has been reported to Chromium team about 5 years ago and there's still no fix.

Look at attached screenshot of Edge's homepage.

Firefox is at the left side and it renders images very sharp comparing to Edge.

I really like new Edge and hope this bug will be fixed.

    Any link to that issue from 5 years ago?
    I've never noticed this on my daily usage in Edge.

      Many people haven't seen this problem before it was shown to them that it really is.
