Apps are not supported in Microsoft Edge.

- Chrome apps are going away in few months, there is no point in Microsoft Edge supporting them.

Google said Wednesday that it will begin to phase out traditional Chrome apps starting in June, and winding down slowly over two years’ time. Chrome extensions, though, will live on.
extentions are still going to be and stay supported...
quite a few have been blocked now aswell
Thanks, it makes sense, because no other browser could use them, kinda a dead end
