Any already well known official way to force Edge to restart ?
Is anyone already aware if there's a well known official way to force Edge to restart ?
...obviously a part from properly using taskkill (from a CMD prompt), Task Manager, or Sysinternals Process Explorer (probably best option I'm also about to consider anyway since while 'Show Process Tree' is enabled it's very easy to see which is msedge.exe main process to close).
P.S. Ok, I know asking you this may seem weird, but since I'm on Edge Enterprise v109.0.1518.78 and I still have to upgrade my Windows 7 SP1 x64 to Windows 10, now I'll have no more way to manually force Edge to restart just like in the past it was very easy to do via own [ Restart ] button (easily found from ... -> Help and feedback -> About Microsoft Edge) after checking that a new update was indeed available or after being sure that a new one was already received and installed.
Regards
One way is to bookmark the page edge://restart. Stick it on your favourites bar for a one-click restart.
Bonus tip: do the same with edge://quit for a one-click method to close all open windows at once.
