Annoying error code 6 on Mac
I've installed Microsoft Edge on my mac for education. After installing the Edge on Mac, one main issue I've notice once Edge open see error message. (Can't Open this page "Error code: 6") This error code occurs on every page included Settings page. For this error code, I've to restart my mac in order to temporary fix. But now couple weeks later, same issues occurred again. This error code is keep getting irritated because of this error code, I've to save all of my work & restart my mac for just to use Microsoft Edge.

Soham1010 Same issue after installing the latest Safari Update two hours ago.
- forced1nductionCopper ContributorSame here, and as others are posting, it was right after the latest Safari update was installed.

I also experienced this recently. I just downloaded the update for Safari (I think it is Safari 14 released ahead of the Big Sur OS update). I got it to work by restarting my MacBook Pro. Make sure you have the most recent updated Microsoft Edge. You may also try uninstalling and reinstalling Edge, and then restart your Mac. Don't know what exactly happened but Edge works perfectly again.
Just a hassle because all the tabs I was saving suddenly disappeared. Apple is such an **bleep** some times with these auto updates.

This problem won't go away on my 2011 Mac either and its annoying! I think apple blocked edge using safari?

Starcrater21 No, if apple blocked edge then there would be news about it. Also, this issue is mostly caused by installing the newest safari 14 updates from Apple, it seems edge doesn't support it. Nothing we can do right now then wait for edge to update...
- mkjerlCopper ContributorJust reboot it fixed mine

I Have the same issue. Uninstall then install it didn't resolve the issue. Even installing Beta version of Edge didn't resolve it. It started Today after installing Safari update.
@Microsoftteam please check to fix this bug.
- smelliottCopper ContributorAlso happening to me today. Catalina 10.15.6 (19G2021), just installed an update last night.

Just installed newest Safari update and Edge is down for the count everywhere.
Edge 87.0.637.0- almostsultryCopper ContributorReboot isn’t helping. Uninstall/reinstall doesn’t help. To boot, I have no keyboard/mouse/touchbar upon reboot. Something bad happened. Need to reinstall to see if that fixes it.

almostsultry what version of MacBook is it? sounds REALLY bad, if that is happening.. something got corrupt on the ssd? I've been trying to narrow down the list of MacBooks that have issues, so I won't get bit too bad when I decide (if ever) to put down for a used one..
