Access to my files

At first when I clicked on Microsoft Edge I would get choices like Excel and My files and I would click on it and get my files and it was very simple.  Then the choices became different and those were no longer there, so I clicked on MS365 and I would be able to connect through a side bar of words such as Excel, Word.   Then that disappeared and now when I click on Microsoft Edge all I ever get is a page that states "Thank You for Sharing" or when I click on Microsoft 365 all I get is a page that states "Office is becoming Microsoft 365" and there are no drop-down menus or even choices to even get my files.  I don't know how to retrieve my files in the simplest way possible.
