About Microsoft Edge hidden behind taskbar

Version 78.0.262.0

"Auto hide taskbar" is very unreliable and as such it hides "About Microsoft Edge" half of the time , making it impossible to check for Edge update availability. I am probably reporting this in the wrong place but the taskbar has been that way for a long time and I don't see that being solved anytime soon. The only other solution would be to shift the Help/Feedback window up a bit.

  • Hi Jacques Van de Meerssche, this is interesting.  I am running on Canary and Windows 10 1903, and the menus always overlay the taskbar, even when the taskbar is set to auto-hide.  What version of Windows 10 are you running, where you see the taskbar overlay the app menu?  This may be a Windows 10 bug that recently was fixed.  Thanks - Elliot

Elliot Kirk  I am also on 1903. Build is 18363.329. I have a double width taskbar that is set to scroll between both lines as you can see in the picture. The behavior of the taskbar is unpredictable. Sometimes it hides, other times it doesn't.
