A Windows 10 bug: The back story

The work we do testing Edge Chromium, finding and reporting issues and bugs to Feedback and the Microsoft Edge Support team is valuable, as valuable as our efforts to help the Chromium team identify features and functions that we believe are critical to the success of the new browser.

We are not alone. Vivaldi and other Chromium-based browser development teams are also actively testing the Chromium base in the Windows environment, and Vivaldi recently identified a potentially serious bug in Windows 10 affecting Chromium performance. Vivaldi's testing team reported the issue to Microsoft, and Microsoft is, apparently, going to issue a fix for the issue in this month's Patch Tuesday Windows 10 update.
